A Day in the Life of...I wake up every morning excited to see what the day ahead has in store for me. For me, that is really the only way to live. I love to smile, I have been told that my smile is quite contagious and others feel "happy" around me; which I consider to be one of the greatest compliments. Plus, I love to make others happy! Also, I proudly support the LGBT community and equality for all.
Writing music has always been my best therapist; an outlet for any emotional drama in my life. I often find it is a way for me to let go of things that I no longer wish to hold on to or need to heal from. I believe that is how writing music all started for me. I wrote my first song, Broken Hearted, at age 15, after a break-up. Although I was not a great guitarist at the time, piano being my main (first) instrument, I wrote it on guitar with simple open chords G, D, Am, and Em (the only chords I knew at the time). Since that very first song I have written many, most of which include love songs and ballads; however, with much effort I have been breaking out of that mold bit by bit. My inspirations include Jewel, Colbie Caillat, and more recently Kina Grannis. I have often been told that my voice resembles that of Jewel's (minus the yodeling) and with it's own unique quality! Although I have always had a passion for my music, I am just now starting to promote myself as a singer-songwriter. Why? Well, because I spent a lot of my time completing my education. I have a Bachelor's degree in Business Management (Minor in Computer Science and Psych) and completed my Masters end of 2012 with an MBA focused in Marketing. I always dreamed of being an entrepreneur, owning my own business, being my own boss, but mostly making a huge impact on the world ON MY OWN! Whether that means via my music or through business it really didn't matter to me as long as I did could say "I did it!" As a Realtor, I get to be my own boss, and combine many of my skills into one. My background in marketing, my skills from management, my minor in Psych and Computer Science all work together in a perfect marriage with my career choice. Being a Realtor is my full time job and via my success thus far I could not be more proud or happy with my choice to pursue this passion. I am a Florida Licensed Realtor associated with Signature International Real Estate specializing in Luxury Home and Condominium Sales (and rentals). I truly love my job! I am proud to say that I was able to grow my business and designed it from the ground up. Business plan, financials, marketing materials, contracts, I even started hiring dog walkers and pet sitters around South Florida. However, after an injury I had to put it on hold. I am not giving up on it, but right now my main focus is Real Estate. However, since I was a young girl I always have had a strong passion for animals and will one day focus again a portion of my life towards animals. I am also a Freelance Marketeer. I have a passion for all art forms, including digital art and design. With my background in business, specifically marketing, I am able to help others market their business and themselves. The Living Room is a really unique restaurant located in Boynton Beach! The atmosphere is unparalleled. It has a swanky vibe and owner Lisa always makes everyone feel like family!
