"After 5 years in a pop/rock band, I needed a different outlet for my music. So, I bought a ukulele and created my personal repertoire of material. An album is in the works, as well as a ukulele EP. In August '10 I embarked on an impromptu southern tour of sorts and wound up placing 2nd in a singer/songwriter competition in Nashville, TN. Let's see what happens next..."

"Dr. Martino is a rock band that embraces an eclectic mix of genres including folk, prog, surf, metal, punk, rap, indie, and funk, to name a few. The impetus for Dr. Martino was not just to “shred” for listeners, we also hope to make them laugh. Humor is a major component of Dr. Martino’s lyrics and live performance. Sometimes dressing “weird,” in bathrobes, pajama pants, bandannas, and christmas lights, Dr. Martino is a serious band of gentlemen that know not to take themselves too seriously."
